Default my mpg sux

I've got a 02 2.5rs with an OBX short ram intake and OBX muffler and I'm getting an avg of 18 mpg. I brought it back to the dealer and they gave me the " wait till 7k" i did no change went back and got " SOA says mileage should normal out around 10k" I now have 11k and still getting 18 mpg average. Any ideas?

thanks ahead,
Brian

Default Winter Gas

The crappy oxygenated winter gas we get here in New England may be a big part of your problem. Ask most people in the NESIC forum and they'll tell you. Gas mileage goes in the dumpster all winter and improves in the spring. Sme how burning more gas with a little less emissions is good for the enviroment . My car was getting 24-25mpg all summer, then about November it dropped. Also, what method are you using to calculate your mileage?

What kind of driving are you doing? Lots of highway? Lots of local roads?

Have you tried resetting your ECU?
