Default Put on your earmuffs!!

I have a question. I have recently installed my borla headers and a hi flow catalytic converter from radom tech. Well before I installed these I had a Scooby Sport backbox and a custom 2.25 in mid pipe. I had just the headers with the stock cat and that sounded great, but then I took out the stock cat and put in the new hi flow and I lost all of that cool porshe sound and inherited the crackling popping beast that I have now. I was wondering what I can do to quiet it down a bit without sacraficing the flow. Thanks a lot!!!!

Stick on a resonator or secondary smaller muffler somewhere in the exhaust stream?

Resonator and a 3 chamber Flowmaster will quiet down it some, but it will still kick some Dbs...

It's not quite a rattling noise, but more of a crackle or something. It is really loud when you lay on it and I can't really find a rpm or anything that will make it quite. it really dosen't sound that good. I am thinking about getting a new muffler and midpipe but I am not sure.
