Took this picture on Saturday. Got my wheels powdercoated in black after they cracked and peeled. Here's what they used to look like. ![]() ![]() |

Guys i have to say those are some pretty sick upgrades for everyone. I dont have a camera to post pics byt my car is pretty stock except for my oz racing 17's. But i just wanted to ask about fog light covers. Ive been looking into them on ebay but they are all unpainted. For the guys who have the painted fog light covers, where did you get them and how much were they. However i am kinda leanign towrds black i think it look pretty cool too though. My second question is: what is with the ubsession with carbon fiber. I keep seeing carbon fiber this and carbon fiber that. What is so special about it?

I was just joking. I don't really care if you post pics of your Evo or not. I've seen your cars and I envy you.

i am not sure what you mean by 'how do i see out?'. i am guessing you mean the tach, it is tucked low and next to the steering column since i mounted the boost controller in front of the stock tach for easy adjusting and viewing...as for the camera looking thing, that is a shift light for the defi tach. i mounted it with a rubber washer and plastic tube so i could easily see it around the steering wheel.

the "how do you see out" comment was jokingly referring to "damn, boy... you got lotsa stuff in yer cockpit!" kidding around. and yeah, I took a closer look and figured it as the shift light. I'm not a big fan of the monster tachs myself, but that's just personal p[reference. if you go to the drags a lot it'd sure come in handy. especially with the placement of your Apexi bit
. again, just personal preference. no harm intended.I've never seen that grill before. I kinda dig it. it looked a little awkward at first, but I like the asymmetrical look of it. I'm assuming the port is for the intake? does it help any? -IggDawg |
