Search for "How to reprint Subaru badge" should find that thread. It's pretty easy, I painted my background red and left the stars chrome.

AP before intake and I stay away from short rams unless you get the Cobb with a heat shield box

Agreed....Definitely avoid the short ram if you can. I ran my AEM without a tune for about 2 weeks and didn't have any side effects. But I wouldn't run one for long without a tuning of some sort.

K&N's SRI has a heat shield, works just as well. flows much better than Cobb's.

Short ram is the way to go....
Your cold air intake does nothing as the ambient air temperature rises significantly from the air passing thru the super hot turbo fins ....

Efficient Intercooler is key ...my0.02

Lol @ ambient temp vs. a short ram taking in the inferno air under the hood and pulling timing. Doesn't matter what intercooler you have when your IATs are sky high. Your ecu pills timing on the temp and amount of air coming in the MAF. Not after the intercooler. So sucking up volcano air in the engine compartment = you're Gunna have a bad time.

The misinformation on this forum is terrible.
