Bad news, never put a deposit on a car when you havnt test driven it, or wiped all the snow off first. It overal looked like crap and sounded like crap. There were 1 to many dings and scratches for a 17,000 car, and the big azz fart cannon on the back made it sound like a motorcycle. Horrible, well what do you get from a 5" exhaust. And they were insisting it was a stock pipe. So back to my local suby dealer and have them search for a car for me.

Springs and wheels are definitely next on the list. Theres just so much to spend money on

I'm considering selling my prodrive wing, so if any of you SRR guys are interested let me know.

Your car looks sweet! Love the Wing. Did it bolt right up to the stock wing holes?

Thanks, and yep, it bolts at stock locations, took about 10 minutes to install.

Why the change in heart? I am a wingless guy, but the RB5 is a close second. I think you should keep it.

Well I am actually waiting for the Ravspec Carbon Fiber S203 replica front lip and was thinking of going with the S202 style rear spoiler to even out the carbon look. I'm still tossing that idea back and forth. Honestly I expect to keep the spoiler since for me to consider selling it I would want a good chunk of money for it or a worthy trade. Being that there arent too many SRR's out there the market is pretty small you know. Plus I really do love the look of the wing and how rare it is.

Haha, thats me, what the heck am i doing? Yeah I put the wing on Ebay just to see what would happen. I really dont expect anyone will bid on it because of the price (although it is fair considering the wing is painted) however it is alot of money for a spoiler.

Thanks for the backup aakrusen, glad to know were looking out for each other here

I disagree, the STi spoiler is like a big hollow box. At least this spoiler and the Evo CF spoiler have some shape to them that make the car look sporty. Plus he doesnt have an STi engine swap, no need for the huge scoop.

you dont need an sti engine for an sti hood scoop. any larger than stock tmic could necessitate the need for a larger scoop. but its all down to owner preference.

Unless u get a larger TMIC you dont need the larger scoop. and if ur gonna do so much upgrading that u need a larger TMIC you might as well go FMIC. leave the STi scoops to the STi's.

Or you can go backwards like I did and just get the STi scoop, on your SRR wrx and go for the RA look. Just need to get a pair of sidemarkers for my fenders and have the holes on the lower rocker filled and painted when i take the skirts off.

I like that little added touch about getting rid of the car or whatever and the stock spoiler going back on the car. Your not really getting rid of the wrx this soon i hope, right?

I do like the RB5 wing, but i still just dont think it belongs on the GD Impreza. It just looks too sharp to go with all the smooth curves and wavy lines of the body style.

Ill have some good pics of my car soon, weather is turning around and with my new camera, quality images are soon to come, right after i wash all that winter crap off the car.
