Thats the silencer cone installed in the exhaust. With the silencer removed you can see clear back to the bend in the exhaust line near the rear differential.

yeah, about $40 my cost, but they could list out up to $70 or so depending on where you buy them. I was looking on subarugenuineparts.com and they sell them except for the srr part. well, to make them srr add RQ on the end of the part #.

I used the vin # off of an 05 rs to get these numbers. I would post them right now except they're at work. I'm pretty sure they are right this time, as there are only two varients of this cover. well, back to work, to finish installing a brand new 5mt into a 02 wrx wagon. I love my job!

I still can't get over how that does not look at all like an Outback... Nothing at all like the old ones.

I e-mailed them:

Matt hi

Subaru shows the solid covers in a "BRIGHT" red. not a san remo red

But... investigating this shows that they are the same color.

*

Thus, as of this morning, i have added San Remo Red to the color choices for the Solid Fog covers

see here: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=632

Feel free to order in our on line store.

I wish they (Subaru Canada) would sell the Outback 3R Sedan in Canada.

That's what I really wanted to buy.

It's a nice protection. His bumper is chipped from a trip up to the San Juans, a trip to Yellowstone, and a trip down towards Crater Lake. The hood, is fine. Only gripes are that it looks somewhat useless at times and you have to take it off (15-25min job) before washing it or taking it for a car wash. Not a bad accessory. It would definately be a nice upgrade to put on during those long road trips.
