Hey Snow Drift. I just picked up a set of the Ziex 512 tires. What tire pressures did you end up running in them? No one even answered me over in the Tire forum.

Wow, I never usually go through here, cause I usually don't prefer red. But my god... the new body style rex's plus San Remo red is seriously making me consider an alternative in the future. Killian Maynard's is just BEAUTIFUL. Man, so jealous.

I have those on my Rota SDR's. I run 45psi, but that may not be right. I pulled the tires to clean my wheel wells, and found the inside of the rears cupped BAD. So either it's the wrong pressure, or I need an alignment, which I'm getting anyway after I get my S-techs installed next week. So, moral of the story, don't pay attention to whether I'm running 45psi.

Usually, when I think of gold wheels on a red car, I think "McDonald's Racing Team"...but that looks GOOD!

I thought it would attract unwarranted police attention but I have only been pulled over once, although cops grill me without fail whenever I drive past them

pulled over twice. no tickets. once i think they were just busting balls as it was end of the month. they never even ran my license just wasted my time.

2nd time a cop was hiding in my gated community to make sure people were goin 25, i was goin 38 and he pulled me over. got a warning.

But besides those times, its been fine. then again i have a Valentine1 too.

I talked to a cop at work, and he straight out told me that the red cars get pulled over more cause they are more noticable, and even with a sports car, they get pulled over even more....

so taht is why i asked....

to bad that wont stop me from getting my redrex!

If it's a gated community, then that's a private road. He has no jurisdiction over that.

Caesar, Hey - I have to say, normally I don't like some of the different elements you used (namely decals, altezzas), but I think you've done a decent job with this... it's a good balance ... it looks like the car has some race endeavors, and not just a rice-wagon.... this color looks great with the white... nice choice of rims. ...might want to carry the red/white combination throughout.

SUBARU SPEC B 3.0R, 18x7, 24.5 lbs., 55mm offset.

First of all i would like to thank Kevin from http://www.kingofimports.com/index1.asp for getting the rims from Japan in a timely and professional manner. He was tracking my "quadruplets" from the get go and even had pics sent from Japan. the rims clear the brakes easily but because i miscalculated on the offset i will need to put on h&r 15mm hubcentric wheel spacers.

the tires, for now, are continental contisport contacts, summer/rain tires, size 225/45/zr18, outside diameter of 25.9, 23 lbs, and a overall section width of 8.9. they corner a lot better than the re92a but then, what doesnt?

after the 15mm (0.5906) spacers go on Ill look at changing the tires to a 27 dia. and a width of 9.8 to fill in the gaps and no im not interested in dropping the car. I like the height of the car and I think the car would look better with bigger tires. The wheel studs will have to be replaced with the ones that come with the spacers.

Also I like to thank Jason at liberty subaru for getting the tire pressure sensors at a nasioc/legacygt discount.
