i have close to $400, and im not sure whether to get the dual stage boost controller or something else. i do know that eventually i'll get the UTEC (maybe within next 6-8 months), rendering the dual stage worthless. can you guys help me out? thanx a lot.
Jim

Do not get a dual stage MBC. I had one and they are not worth the money. Just save your money!

yeah, i agree, don't waste your money. you can build yourself a dual stage setup, w/ mbc, pretty cheap (< $75), but i wouldn't spend the >$200 some are charging, it's just not worth it.

for $400 get an up-pipe and MBC from vishnu ($310 up-pipe kit and $50 MBC) this is best bang for buck.
or get the scoobysport downpipe with CEL fix ($400) or get better tires. or get front and rear sway bars and kartboy endlinks (whitelines $300 endlinks $100) or get whiteline anti-lift kit ($150) and brake pads, fluid, and steel lines ($250) what are you trying to do, drive the car or drag the car? |

This is my suggestion:
1. Gut the stock up-pipe. Cost = Free 2. Get Vishnu's EMI system and PnP Harness. Cost = $350-$400. Much better than a dual stage setup. However, if you're still interested in a dual-stage setup I have all the parts and may looking to sell them soon... - Turbo XS HPMBC - Grainger solenoid - red illuminated toggle switch (its a nice one) JC |
