Does anyone have any kleenex?

I guess now we all know why Subaru was so confident in saying that whatever Mitsubishi came out with the STi would top it.

I think its a 9,000 RPM tach, not a 9,000 rpm redline.

I'm hoping this is sarcasm.. the Neon SRT is not "faster" by any measure that I'm aware of.

0-60 time on the SRT is slower (low 5's for the STI)
1/4 mile on the SRT is slower (should be mid 13's for the STI)
Top speed on the SRT is slower (unless I'm crazy, I don't think the SRT goes above 140.. I could be wrong on this one)

9000rpm tach, which probably means it'll redline at ~7000-7500...

<--- wets his pantaloons imagining the sound of a 2.5L turbo boxer wound out that high...
