Weeeeeeeeee

.................................................. .................................................. ..
A redesigned instrument panel relocates the tachometer in the center and includes a new cruise control "engaged" indicator. Silver trim rings add a touch of style to the new gauges.
.................................................. .................................................. ..

Now is when I am glad that I just turned 18 and HAD to wait for my WRX!

18 years old. Begining in the summer I will start my normaly job at the pentagon working for the Air Force.. I will get my down payment from there. Then I will continue to work there and go to community college after the summer. I can afford it because I will still be living at home and my mom will pay for half of my insurance. So yes I am getting help from the parents. But most of my money will go into the Subaru. There ya go.. lol

Man, I dont even want to know how an 18 year old can save 20K. You must get on hell of an allowance. Because I started working when I was 15, and if I saved every penny would not have 10K in 3 years. And thats working 55-65 hours a week...

must be nice

When I was 18 I was making 60k per year as a programmer intern. Too bad I wasted all my money on my (now ex) girlfriend.

Now I'm working full time as a system admin at a web hosting company making much less money. It sounded like a good idea at the time (I got stock) but its so much hard work and mostly compaining customers (not that we aren't better than almost everyone else of course)... so now I've still got 8k left to pay off on my RS, meaning no STi *or* WRX for me.

you lucky bastards!

Piffle, the current dashboard arrangement is perfect. The eye falls to everything, even the boost gauge if you have a column-mount. Speed is more important than rpms, and the current dash is arranged thus.

I know, I know...it's not as cool as having a center-mounted tach.

Perhaps it's the side mirror defog switch for the now-optional cold weather package. I believe the OB had a separate switch for the side mirrors in a similar location.

Just my guess.

Don't think so, Up here in Canada we already have the side mirror defog, it's controlled by the same button as the rear defog, which is in the middle like the A/C button.

Windshield wiper de-icer. If it's the same as the '03 Forester (which also got the "cruise" light).
