Default No more RE92?

OMG! For once Subaru isn't skipping out on the tires? This is the tires they put on the spec C right? The Japan STi gets RE040 I think?

I believe they are RE-070 on the new car.

They are not just summer tires, these are basically track tires with some grooves.

I hope Subaru offers a "winter wheel/tire" package like Saab does.

The grooves are quite big. I'd assume they'd be ok in the wet but not sure about "standing water" --- that is where the S-02 and S-03 shine.

Suggestion: buy some 17-18" wheels and S-03 or Rossos for daily driving and keep stock tires for track days. That is my plan.

For this kind of car, OEM tires won't do no matter how good they are - remember, your tires keep the car on the ground right side up. With this kind of power, if I have the money to get the car, I might as well be prepared to upgrade the tires right from the get go, and save the OEM for something else or sell it.
