Unhappy The STi is here, where is the price.....

Ok, they finally did it, and we are all in a lustful hedonistic frenzy . Where is the MSRP? Are they afraid that the price will throw a bucket of ice on us? Even the lowly EVO was unveiled with the sticker price if I am not mistaken. I got a bad feeling about this.... Show me the MONEY!!!!

Unhappy

The price is slowly marching upward....and this does not take into consideration the dealer "market adjustment." I am happy it is here, but there is no need to hold the cards so close to the vest now. Holding up the price will only make things worse when they do release it, IMHO, if it really is that bad. I think that the choice of the 2.5L kinda spells it out already, but still just enough out of focus to drag things on a little longer. Just put it out there, and let some of the air outta the hoopla. Let the chips fall where they may.

According to THIS press release, looks like it will be priced in the low $30's. If you want a stereo it will be extra, it was left out for weight savings. It did say one could be installed at the dealer.

The dealers better not put on "market adjustment"
If so, no one is going to be happy with them and Subaru should be smart enough to encourage their dealers not to do that.

During the chat with Petter Solberg on Edmunds the Subaru guys said pricing was "being determined" and that we may not know for a few months!!
