Default Quick help on steering wheel install please

I'm installing a us WRX momo wheel on my RS...

I loosend the 17mm nut in the middle as per scoobymods.com, but I just cannot pull the wheel off. I feel like I'm gonna pull a muscle. Any tips on getting it off?

Also, if I don't have cruise control do I stell need to connect the cruise control harness?

my 220 pound dad couldnt do it, so he showed me a little trick. Take two hammers (one with a rounded head). Put the rounded head on the bolt, and tap it with the other hammer once or twice. Pops right off

Thanks for letting me know bout the cruise harness.

im drawing a blank here...errr, did you plug the horn in?
