limited production run......

I was just wondering if there will be a limited production for the sti...or can you just order it when you get to the dealer. I read the press release and did not see anything about this. just curious.thanks

No orders, dealers will sell from their stock only.

Approx 300/month to dealers based on their past WRX (?) sales volume.

Not a limited edition in that sense, but certainly limited availability.

I suspect given the financial conditions in Japan, they will gladly make all they can sell.

Yeah, remember the WRX was "limited production" to 10,000 in the first year. When Subaru saw it was selling well that bumped up to 15,000 for the first year, then finally 20,000 for the first year.

I would wait to buy one till later in the year.

The dealers will be putting heafty price hikes on these at first, but when all the youngins who cant afford the Corvette ZO-6 insurance premiums pass these up...They will start to collect dust and the deals will be out there.

I'm just waiting for the first wrecked one so I can get the engine.

ETA...1 week after they start selling them.
