Post automatic worth it?????

my freind has a 2000 rs 4 door automatic, he wants to go faster but no turbo, nitrous or superchargers. my question is it worth it for him to get all the bolt ons? will it make a difference? does anyone have an auto with all the bolt ons, how does it feel any suggestions????

In any transmission, if you get a "good" intake and exhaust setup, the car will accelerate better and go faster.

Is it worth it? It's a personal preference. I have Larry's intake and Stromung because I like them and my car does accelerate so much better.

I beat one of the other Impreza guys at the AutoX yesterday, with my automatic, RE730s, and Tein medium springs. Now if I had the same intake, S-AFC, exhaust, and whatever else I might do even better.

And I may have found a line on a racing shifter for the 4EAT that lets you shift at will, plus control lockup and shift pressure. For less than $400.

Then we'll see how well I do.

Yo RS25 I'm definately interested in this sportshifter. Especially around the $400 range. Can you give a more detailed explination of what it is that this shifter would be able to do? I would love to turn my automatic into a more sporty shifting trans without having to switch out the whole thing. Hope you find out soon.
