Well, I fianlly put on my Rallispec Intake this weekned, and I must say, I'm quite impressed with it! Very nice build quality, everything fit together without a hitch. I feel more power (or maybe I feel the illusion of power because it sounds more powerful, hmmmmmm). Man, that thing is LOUD!! Holy crap! At WOT around 5000 RPM, GEEZ, its damn LOUD, like NASCAR loud (I've never actually been in a NASCAR, but I'm guessing its like that!)! But the sound is amazing, not ricey at all! I love it! Go buy one!
![]() Now for the question....now that I have an intake, do I need one of those SAFC thingys or some other kind of computer enhancement? My cars a '00, so to my understanding everything should be OK since I got the MAP. RIGHT? Can someone clear this up for me? I dont wanna be running lean or anything... Jon

Nope, you shouldn't need anything in the way of electronics. In fact, from what I read from other people's experiences, S-AFC's are useless on '00's since the computer learns right around them. Just install and enjoy - see, toldya it was loud, didn't I? hehe..

Goose - I put my Rallispec intake on this week too. It is sweeet.
It is definitly worth the wait and the $$ It is more $ than others but it is top quality and all inclusive. 99 owners will need a S-AFC. 00+ don;t need anything. ![]() Eric |

I've been shouting that from the hills too. I was one of the first installs and I still love the hell out of it. Especially that it is warmer and I can hear it more

Well, I know that most of you have MAP systems, but does any one know if the Rallispec intake for a MY99 will do any damage to the MAF? I have heard the Weapon-R intake MAF stories, but never of the Rallispec. Maybe there is less people out there with the Rallispec, but I am interested. Anyone know?

i really like my ralispec intake too! it has been awesome. the only problem i had was the bracket that is welded onto the intake that connects to the fender broke. i don't know if they include a rubber washer with the kit now or not but i would suggest putting one in between the bracket and the fender so the intake can move around a bit and the bracket won't brake off like mine did.
