Default COBB CAI install???

I was wondering if anyone could spot me some quick install directions for my new intake. I noticed there's three hoses connected to the stock air box and only two places for the hose on the new intake.
The intake came with silicone hoses one with a "T" Am I supposed to hook the T up to ONE of the little things sticking out then have it split off to TWO of the places where the hoses connect to the engine(or where ever)?

That really the only problem I can see I'm going to question.

What do I do. Does anyone know what I mean?

Not sure exactly what you mean.

You removed everything up to the throttle body correct?

and your talking about the colored rubber hoses that go from your CAI to your engine?

I guess that is a new thing...

mine has three nipples, one for each hose...

yes, you can use the T to connect two holes to one nipple...

Well guys, I figured it out. I just called Cobb and they told me.
Now I have to goto the store and get a longer vacum hose cuz one of the ones they sent me is like 3 inches too short. I think they're going to send me a longer one, but I can't wait for that long with a car. I don't know why they didn't send a longer hose in the first place, cuz when I called they seemed to already know that it was going to be short. I mean what the fudge is that crap? They knew but didn't do anything about it till I called.

But yeah its in, it gets really loud after 5k. I drove through a small tunnel and DAAAAYMN! I'm loud. I also have a borla heard and cat back with a Rand. Tech. cat. Seems to run a little smoother through the power bands.

Now, I need to meet my friend Jenny and make her jelous of my car some more. SHe's got an auto RS. BLAH!

When I got mine from them, they sent me an extra of each hose.

But then again I got the pulley too, and it came with the wrong belts..........

Sorry to hijack!

Have any of you cleaned the PRM filter yet? I've had mine a year so decided to clean/reoil as per prm's instructions.

I'm a little worried about under/over oiling it. Is there a big margin of error? My car has been fine since i cleaned it so i'm not actually that worried, but still...

Default Cobb question

Hey, just a quick question for all of you cobb intake owners...Do you like your intake better than say....a ganzflow? I'm thinking about switching, but not sure of the beneifts of the Cobb. Is it loud under WOT, I imagine it would be louder than the Ganz. Is low end torque improved with the Cobb? One other question, no one has had any CEL's come on have they?

Thanks a bunch,
Jason

Yes i like it better, but no it doesn't "improve" low end, but doesn't hurt it either, but up high...

and yes it is considerably louder than the ganz. at WOT my intake is louder than the exhaust...

I have the same setup in route (Borla Header, Random Tech Cat & Cobb CAI), have you had any trouble with CEL's?
