Default 2005 STi?? or a 2nd run of 2004 STi's??

Since they are bringing it here in the summer of 2003, as a 2004. Do you think there will be a 2005 model in a year or so?

Also, with the initial popularity of the WRX in the US. If they sell all of the production run the first day or before the dealers even get them. Do you think it will be likely they will make a 2nd production run? SImilar to what they did with the original 2002 WRX's. Maybe another run of cars that may be available in Jan 2004 as 2004 model STi's?

I think that they'll make as many as there is demand for within the limitations of their manufacturing capacaties. For some reason I don't think that it is Subaru's intention to keep the production as limited as say an S2000. I think Subaru is after profit and market share and they'll achieve that by producing as much volume as the market will bear. The STI is going to play a dual role as both a halo car and a volume car. Incredibly desireable but also easily attainable, an intersting balance that's sure to do well.
