no rear wiper, no sunroof.

There is also something missing from the back seat if you look closely.

Bingo. I believe the baby-seat anchors are required by FMVSS and are, therefore, present.

I hope to God you're wrong. That would suck.

I haven't seen full pics of the US interior, since it is slightly different, but it's there on the Euro version..

The Euro and Japan versions have a radio, a pass through, a rear wiper, but no DCCD

We get DCCD, but no radio, no passthrough, no rear wiper.

It does appear that it has fold down rear seats though, what else would those black tabs on the top of the seats be??

They are the child restraint tether hooks.

And that photo isn't of the US car.

Moonroof will be optional on the WRX (not the STi).

Simply put - you can set it to handle better for certain conditions.

Doubtful, I'd think you'd lose a lot of rigidity and stiffness with a sunroof. And with the STi being the ultimate drivers car, I don't think that is something Subaru will sacrifice.

The JDM GDA WRX had it but they moved a roof rail back, I have a line drawing of it somewhere.

1) Why no sunroof? Sunroof is heavy.
2) Why not an option? Low volume car, no orders. And see 1).

Nice it is finally an option on the WRX.
