Exclamation I just drove a 99 RS coupe and a 01 RS coupe and have a question!?

So maybe I am crazy here, but whether I am or not I hope some one can help me out!
I just test drove both a MY99 RS Coupe and a MY01 RS Coupe... I own a MY00 RS Sedan and my question is, Is my Clutch bad or are they differnet in the 2000's? My clutch since I bought my bad A$$ RS has been like fighting a bunch of vikings in a swedish Rally!!! I had sergury in my left leg and it is hard for me to keep going on with this clutch if I do indeed have a bad clutch? Both the 99 and the 01 have a clutch that is like butter!
I couldn't believe the differnce in the action. I almost put my foot through the firewall cause I expected to have to fight this one as well! So does anybody know if there is a difference in the Sedan/Coupe or 99 / 00 / 01? Thank You all very much!!

I work at a Subaru Dealership and I have driven Subarus and RS's more specifically of all different years, generally all of them are butter smooth with the occasional tough clutch though not specific to a year or model. Just my experience.

The car is still under warranty - just tell them you're having problems with an excessivly heavy clutch..

I have a 2000, and have no complaints..

It's worth a shot bringing it in. Worst case it remains the same.
