Wow...the new car doesn't look so bad in WRC trim. (Course the same thing was true of the 01/02 model also... )

I attribute that to the 'normal' sized hood scoop on the WRC version, as opposed to the 'friggen-huge' one on the STi...

The WRC doesn't need a hood scoop as it has the intercooler at the front of the car. Its just for looks.

They have always gone for the small one for aerodynamics. Even though the air filter is right under it, you don't need any sort of "ram-air" style intake... That's what the turbo is for.
