Yes, you can feel the improved throttle response. Power gains are questionable.

I just brought me a N1 UnderDrive Pulley from JC Sports yesterday. Can't wait to get it on too.

While the power gains and throttle response are supposed to be significantly improved with the pulley while the car is *MOVING*, i hear that since its a smaller pulley, at rest the car actually has an increased chance of stalling out at idle and not enough electricity is generated to supply power to peripheral electronics like the stereo (esp if you have a kickin audio system). I live in Houston and cannot have my A/C compressor turning slow at idle. I just noticed that you can now purchase the N1 pulley in a lighter-than-stock version but with the same diameter! Same belts as factory too! It removes about 4lbs. from the crankshaft. I am not going to purchase it until I install my 12lb. flywheel first. I don't want to take too much weight off of the crankshaft.

If the pulley has the same diameter there shouldn't be any problems with the elctricity. Guess you knew already, but if you didn't... The benefit isn't quite same even if the race on with the same diameter weights as much as the unorthodox. The energy of the revolution and the acceleration of the pulley is proportional to (radius)^2. The smaller the dia the easier is to move the pulley.

I had read some responses from some people who live where it really gets hot (like Florida, where I am!), and they were not pleased with the way in compromised their air conditioning. I decided not to get one for this purpose because air conditioning in this state is as necessary as having air to breathe!
