Thumbs down 2nd gear, ***!

I've been noticing lately that when I start going in my car sometimes second gear kicks out then kicks in again and lurches my car like a bitch. I was driving today and I put it in second, it drops from 4000 to 0 RPMs, goes thuuuuuuuuud, clunk, CE light comes on, I'm like ***, take it out of 2nd, put it back in, it's fine. It's done this like 4 times so far today, and a couple of times in the past which I thought was me letting my foot off the clutch to early, but I dunno. I'm headed to mastro at 2 to have them check it out. this totally sucks ass...oh yah, I also get such horrible clutch shudder before my car warms up, it shakes the whole car hard enough to rattle the dash...but I dunno, if you guys have any idears fire away, other than that I'll tell you what happens today at the dealership...I'm just glad I didn't put a turbo on yet, can we say bye bye warranty....yup

I would say the dealership BETTER fix it...and you better start double clutching IMO or it will happen worse with your turbo.

ouch, that's horrible, get it check soon, and please keep us updated!

as for the clutch shudder, try press the clutch around 10 times after starting the car, and warming up... it helps abit...

ok guys, the first of my problems, the 2nd gear cut out. I replaced the PCV hoses that connect to the airbox with little 'breathing' filters. These filters got dirty from oil vapor and allowed less and less release of the oil vapor in the valve cover. This in turn raised the map pressure mad high and the ecu cut fuel, I don't understand why it only happened in 2nd gear though. This is just what I was told. So upon replacing those I have to then take it back to the dealership so they can run some more checks. But I think it's something more b/c on my way there the clutch was burning so bad, it smelled soooo much. But I'll be taking it back later on in the week or early next week. I need to get this all checked out for my first autocross on may 6th. I can't be going and not be able to come back, ya know...

What little filters?
Im scared of blowin my tranny cuz I am horrible to it..I am still learning how to drive a stick...and I am getting better, but still I grind on a couple of occassions...
