Post What is the ID of the 2.5 RS mid-pipe?

I've already tried a search. Just want to see if my '93 will be able to take a 2.5's exaust. Mike Shields told me not to go over 2.25".

i was told once it's 1 7/8"

and a quick search in the archived technical forum came up with 1.75"

I have a 1997 L and thus far most of the RS to L parts for that year were the same, I have 1 7/8" piping.
Suburban Subaru Told me 2", but I think they're wrong, they were busy when I called.
