Default USDM ej20 into a 00+ Legacy GT?

Is there any more difficulty in performing the above swap than putting an ej20 into a gc8?

I've always liked the Legacy better than the Impreza, but the power to weight ratio kept me away. With an ej20 swap, that problem would be solved.

I wouldn't do the swap myself, so is it safe to assume that a shop would charge the same for the work on a Legacy as they would an RS?

Thanks in advance.

We have swapped the USDM EJ20 into a 99GT and Limited.
Both are a little more time consuming than the RS conversions. It took us about 8 more hours to the do the Legacy SWAP.
That conversion makes that car SWEEEEEEET

Good to hear that it's not much of a problem.

Can you tell me what about the swap was more time consuming?

Thanks for the reply.

Honestly it took us longer the first time because we had to go through different manuals and verify the wiring.
The second time, it took us longer because the owner wanted more than the basic install.
We all agreed that the next basic legacy conversion should take as long as the RS...~45 hours... I hope we are right
