Default Calling All Houston, Texas Folks

Hey there gang, I am headed down to the Houston, Texas area at the end of the month January 25-Feb 1st for a little vacation with the Fiancee, and was wondering if there were any 'clubs' or anyone with anything planned for that time period?

There's the car show at the Reliant Center during that time - may be a good thing to go see.

Only my opion of houston clubs follows:

Roxy -- trendy, youngish, cool
Bar Houston -- trendy, girl packs and prowling guys
Have a Nice Day Cafe -- same as above
Numbers -- cool, not trendy, counter culture (I like it there!) trashy by most standards, highly reccomended, mixed crowd, very dark, watch yourself in the bathroom
Mercury Room -- upper scale mega trendy
Wild West -- country, fake chests, hook up joint, trucks
Polly Easter's -- depends on luck, older crowd, mostly lame, hook up joint, but if you know the bartender in the Dance Plex and like the techno there it can rock -- serious hook up joint and can be a decent date club (Sat. Night Best.)
Hurricane Hut -- kids (18 up) but much like MTV spring break crowd w/best thong contest in town -- i like it there but won't go without date since I'm older and don't want to be labeled Chester
T-Town - kids, g-bangers, cool in rare cases

So the answer is -- depends.

Hey gang..

Why Houston? My Fiancee's cousin lives just south of there, and they have a big honking house and an extra car, so the trip only costs us the flight...

Club list is perfect! thanks

The car show sounds great, any details you guys can provide?

Any scooby meets planned?

WOW! You guys are an enthusiastic bunch!!

You'll have to help me out with directions and stuff, and I'll have tobeg and plead to get to drive up to meet with you guys.

This Thursday night at Nick's sounds intruiging? What and where is Nicks?

I just found out, the specific city we are going to is Missouri City. Does that mean anything to anyone?? hahahahah... Looks fairly close to things...???

Missouri City at one time, may have been an actual separate city, but pretty much anything within 30-40 miles of downtown is just Houston now! We big city folks like to swallow up and bastardize any nearby town we can get our hands on!

Mo. City is not too far away from the happenings, considering it takes about a standard 30 minutes for me to get anywhere around here.

Seriously? Getting hooked up.... Mmmm..
PollyEaster's (be picky, there will be all shapes and sizes to choose from).

Also forgot in original list-- City Streets. Decent date club. All types of music to choose from (like six clubs in one). Me and a GF did new year's there. It was decent.

Cabo's downtown is doable -- Cabo's on west side isn't that hot on Friday, but Sat. is ok to good.

You could also do a club crawl tour if you want to fork the cash....
