Question ? What is needed for an RS to WRX tranny swap?

Ok, just wondering if someone has the definite answer on what's needed to convert an MY99 RS tranny to a 2002-3 WRX tranny swap? Do I need the half shafts, drive shaft, Rear diff or LSD? Any info would be much appreciated, thanks,

Why would you do that? You basically have the same tranny ( unless you have an auto), just with a different final drive ratio. I think you may even have a numerically higher ratio then WRX.

My issue is the clutch and the torque capacity differences of pull vs. push type clutches. I understand that with the RS tranny I get faster acceleration and lose top end, but I would like a tranny that would hold close to 300ft-lbs torque all day long. The ACT clutches are rated at 304ft-lbs and the WRX clutches can handle 400 ft lbs without having to go to 4 or 6 puck.
