RS mudguards from SPImotorsports.com at the subaruwrxparts.com price (72$) (They pricematched beacuse I was getting the sideskirts from them.) I had to shave them to fit, but they did.

El Cheapo? I bought them for 8.99 a pair at Auto Zone. I was/am planning on getting the Prodrives, but I needed these on for a rally X and I have not taken them off yet.

Subaru UK/Prodrive...Factory fit with no modification needed. Arnie Haines was who they were purchased from. ibarne@netzero.net
The price was around $180.00. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it because of the fit & finish.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics that show the shape of the flaps clearly. They hang about 50mm above the ground, and stick out from the side of the car about 35mm. My rally wheels are 35mm offset, so the mess up the side of my car pretty quick without the flaps on. I got the material from the local shop supply store, its an organic rubber which stays soft in the cold, but is still very tough. I've had them on for 3 months now with no problems.

These ones I had on last spring. They ripped off while backing into a driveway after some Whiteline springs were put on.

This is my old car, but still good flaps... I got these about 2 years ago from someone who was offering them here on the boards.

Paul, great job!
I am trying to install mine.
There is no problem with rear flaps (I used bolts nuts and washers), but I have no idea what I should use in front to hold flaps well.
Would you please tell me how you instaled front flaps?

Thanks,
Alex

Everything is documented there. I wouldn't use anything with a phillips head though. Make sure you can use a socket/ratchet or wrench to remove them if you need to.

I also added a zip tie to the inside area of each flap to keep it from flapping and hitting the tires. Had to drill a few small holes, but no big deal.

Thanks by the way,
Paul G.

I don't follow? We did. The jackastand have a similar cut out like the stock Subaru jack, so nothing gets crushed if your carful about placement. That was the start of my suspension install.

Oh yeah, the mudflaps are from Graham Goode Racing in the UK. Fronts are stock on the turbo models (thanks to the side sills) and the rears I believe are the same as ones availble from US dealers. Enjoy!
