Post Nozzle "thingies" on Ganz intake?

I received my Ganz intake on Friday and saw two small diameter "vacuum nozzle thingies" that were capped in yellow rubber. In Larry's .pdf instructions, I don't see anywhere about attaching them to anything. Am I supposed to? Please let me know because I don't want to hurt my RS, it only has 7,000 miles on it. Thanks!

By the way, the sound at WOT is great!

Hmm, you have two nozzles? I only have one on mine.

Larry's instructions for installation say to leave it capped, so capped it is. I would assume the same is true if you have two of them.

I just received mine last week and it had 2 as well. Same thing on the instructions, only refers to 1 nozzle. My assumption is that nothing should be attached to either, though on the great and powerful Larry can answer that.

My guess is that those will be connected to vacuum lines in the future versions, as Larry is working on a whole new air-box, and I'll bet those lines will be moved from the stock box to the intake in the future. Just a little forward thinking on Larry's part.

Thanks guys. I sent Larry an e-mail this morning about the "nozzle thingies" and this is what he wrote:

Those vacuum nipple don't need to be atached to anything, although when we
redesign the stock air box they may be used.

There you go. However, I do think that in the mean time, 2 trunk monkeys are better than 1 under my hood Thanks for all the replies. Thanks Larry!
