Post ATTN: legacy people(subiegal?), or subaru experts(trey)... header question/info

I was searching the web and came across a site that claims the 97 legacy and outbacks(as well as others, but I'm focusing on the 2.5L) had equal length headers. This sounds very promising to me. Are these good headers(flow well, sturdy, good design, etc) to transplant onto an RS? I have been holding off on the Borla headers hoping I would find some affordable equal length headers that won't prevent me from going turbo...

Well there's a little bit of truth in that... even for the RS. Up to the Y-section where the exhaust manifolds join, it is equal length... but other than that, they're different lengths period (total length to the first cat.)

The answer to your question is that the 2.5GT headers are absolutely identical to the headers on the 2.5RS. So, as GTBGUY said, they're just as "equal length" as the 2.5RS headers are.
