Question Intake and CE (Check Engine) Light

Question for you guys:

I am having my second "Check Engine" light occurrence right now, but I was planning to install a new Ganzflow intake this weekend. Is it advisable to install such an intake while I have this CE light problem? (i.e. will dealers refuse to work on a CE problem if they see modified parts in engine?)

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Take it to the dealer first, find out what is wrong, then do the the intake - the intake will not make it worse, but will give the dealer something to blame on you.
