huh? huh? hehe it's a possibility, right?
I don't think upgrading the intake or removing the muffler will have anything to do with its ability to "do doughnuts" on dry pavement. A 24mm swaybar on an RS would give you insane oversteer though.

Why would you want to do this anyway? It sounds like a recipe for trashing your drivetrain, or at least tempting fate.

fuji... it ain't gunna happen. i can nearly do donuts (havn't tried yet, but i peel out like no ones business) on dry pavement, but it has less to do with driver skill or horsepower, and more to do with my bald ass re92s.
just say no

Question When's next Fuddrucker's GTG?

Anyone getting together this weekend @ Fuddruckers? If so, what time? I have my kids this weekend so I couldn't bring the Rex but I could bring a fun SUV; my Excursion. I think I could take most WRX's for the first 60'.

No Fuddrucker's meet anytime soon, that last one was organized through Minnesota Sport Compacts.

There is a calendar on their page. Once it gets warm we will be having more regular events.

I have to attend some of those MSC meets sometime this year. Must see what's up!

i should be home at least for at least a month this summer... my house/condo and boat are open for a meet if you are interested. (we are still looking for the right condo to buy... we *should* have sold our house by summer) Wouldn't be much of a "car" meet, but it would be nice out on minnetonka.

You know something guys, we should have set a time out to go fishing altogether! Maybe some of you guys bring some of your beers and we have like a nice picnic at the lake. We can fish and talk while the fish have not yet bite. What do you guys think?

hey there. i was in St Cloud this weekend. the weather wasn't that bad until sunday. on the way to the cities to catch my plane, i saw a Volvo that looked like it wraped itself around a light pole. kinda evil looking wreck. the weather on sunday sucked. i spent like 5 hours in the airport before we took off. then i got to Denver and the weather there sucked too. missed my flight to Seattle and spent a great night of no sleep in the Denver airport. finally got home and it was sunny and 45. man i love the great Northwest. no rough winter like you guys have. but i could be moving there this year and haveto learn to deal with the winters. oh well.

Long live the snow!!

Sorry to hear about your gf Grant. Glad she's OK. I rescued some high school girls from a ditch on my way back from my parent's 80 doing some practice on my Hakkas. They slid into an intersection and got clipped by a truck on the rear right and spun into the ditch. Bastard didn't even stop to see if they were OK Just two of 'em in the car but not even dressed for the cold. They were OK and I dropped them off at one of their homes. They all liked my car

Saw plenty of cars off the road coming back from Madison Sunday. Freezing rain most of the way. Plenty of State police roaming around to get them help if they needed it though.

Garrett, you didn't happen to get any numbers did ya? You know i'm just kidding.....

Well it happened to SNOW again today! When doing doughnuts in the snow, for those of you who perform this what technique do you do to get your vehicle into a slide before doing a scoobnut?

what i like to do is strip down completely naked, run around my car 3 times while simutaneously flipping off other drivers in the intersection. then i just hop back in the car, put a sock on my genitals and she will pull 360's like a dream. but thats just me.

I'm not as good as Colin McRae when he did donuts in place in the old 555 car after taking the WRC driver championship that year. Not even in snow. Besides, it's illegal to do donuts in any public area including parking lots which are open to any portion of the public at any time of the day:

I wanna have some fun! The intake and exhaust will provide some power..... but anyway....skip subject....

I just got back from a fishing up at Upper Red Lake! My god is it so windy out there! It's got like -30 wind chills! So cold that my eye lashes froze! I caught a 13 inch Crappie though, and a 9-ish inch perch. I saw a white Outback i think out there. The ice is like 32 inches thick!

What's going on right now?

greetings all, I hail from stillwater. I live out in the boonies, so I HAD been having a lot of fun othe backroads sliding around, until I hit a curb with my front right tire. The weird part is that the impact knocked that wheel back into alignment, while the other three were disasterously off. Naturally, I blame the RE92s, but no more! I have some nice new snow tires that are unbelievable. Before it was pretty much impossible to make a turn without sliding, now it is like driving in the summer. First time I have ever had snow tires, and I love them.

Are there any upcoming events for us in MN? We should all go to a Wild game or something...

No, as Subaru owners we have to troll message boards and make threats about getting together whilst camping our respective cars nervously

If y'all weren't so afraid of the cold I'd be willing to host a "birdwatching caravan" through Carlos Avery

I can work on your car, I sorta know things about cars

We don't really have meets very often. A lot of the Subaru folks get together at MN Sport Compact club meets. See www.mnsportcompacts.net for more info. Good bunch of guys otherwise.

Glad to see another GC8 Impreza owner looking to do some performance upgrades!
