Say, how is your car running since we switched UTEC maps? Have you gotten one from Jorge by email? Obviously it didn't blow up since I'm assuming you would have said so.

The car is deffinitly better, I brought it down to a friend of mine who worked on the GTi. We found a vaccum line off of the fuel pressure regulator, once that was back on it ran much better. it still has some weird boost issues. I should have a labtop soon so I can start data logging. you'll have to give me a ride in your vf23 car. Sorry about your bike Fuji.

I tightened the rear spring/coilover and it helped out a lot! One then though, I still need to break-on the tires because they're slipping on me when I'm cornering hard. Seriously! I can tell they're slipping! I'm thinking about getting slick tires soon sometime to increase overall grip. The price was like $100 for 2.

Russ, you can hold on till this Fri/Sat....when I roll up with my new ride.

I can wait. I might be out, I am not to sure yet. Also, is anyone interested in painless dent removal?? I work with a guy who's brother does that for a living, so if we can get a good interest in it, let me know. I only have 1 dent in my car (knocking on wood) and that is going to be a pain to get out, but if anyone else is interested, let me know. I will get his number and such.

I'm interested...I have two really small hail dents in my hood. Let me know if he can swing me a deal. I can't imagine it would take any more than 5 minutes.

I have several dings on my car. Will it really be "painless?" I also have a raised dent ( ) on my car. Don't know how that happened...

Hey guys, I just bought a used 98's RS gold wheel from ebay to use as a spare for $10.00 But anyway, the problem with it is in the inner band there is a slight bend but the seller said it still hold air.

Just to be safe, I am going to fix it. Does anybody know where I can take it to and repaire it? Any idea how much it might cost?

Thanx guys
John

When do we want to have another meet??? I can have Ryan (the PDR guy) come to the meet and do some of the quick jobs, and give quotes to the others. He will definitly do it, and I think it might be a little easier to get the group together and have him give quotes and such. I don't want to try coming up with quotes and such. I guess we need to come up with another meet date and I can relay the info to him.

John:

There is a place in Hopkins,

Precision Wheel Service
9220 James Av S BLOOMINGTON, MN 55431-2315
(952) 881-3010

Now the info I posted is there old address they are now located in Hopkins off Excesior. Try giving them a ring at this number. I have the new information at home, I will post it tonight if this number is not correct.

I think you would be looking at between 50 and 100 dollars for the job.

I've actually havn't been to Red Rock for two years until two weeks ago that I went with my brother. It's very dusty due to their road construction. I almost got lost on the way back, because they only had cones set up to mark the small lanes. At the straight, the city moved in some concrete barriers aligned on the sides to keep speeders from speeding. If they go over the speed limit and aren't paying attention, they would side swipe their car into those walls. You can't race unless your tires can stop quick on sandy roads. You'll need a car wash right after and no one's there anyways.

I may stop by for a short short short time. Maybe do a Drive and Say Hi by if ya wanna call it that.

Got a hot date with the wife so can't keep her waiting LOL.

The last time I was at Redrock Rd. was about 3 years ago, haven't been back since. I'm not much into the 1/4 mile run these day. If it's roadracing on Track, I'm game.

See yall at Da Lot!!!
