Post 99 RS air flow % on a SAFC does any one know

I have the Afc I notice when I first installed it. That under Full Throttle around 5600k rpm the afl would be around 32%
1 year later tryed testing it again and the at same rpm the afl was 28% sometimes 27%
I don't understand am losing air flow or what is it. Does any one know what the afl % should be. Also what should the settings be for a 99 RS (just asking to see what other peps have theres set at).

I have a new fliter in the intake too so a can be that if any one know please help

thanks Lorenzo

Could be your filter? At first I was going to say clean it, but you stated it's new. May I inquire what brand? I've heard that the Weapon R filters flow pretty bad...

As far as % increases on the AFC.... As you probably know (due to the searches you and I are 'required' to do) there is no one setting for several different cars. However, I've had mine set one way since I had it installed.

My adjustments, I will try to recall from memory, start as low as 2500 @ 1%, 35 @ 3% 45 @ 8% and from 5k and up I have it at/or above 15% (up to the highest at 26%). Throttle setting is 25% and 80%.

As I don't have an EGT gauge yet, it's hard to determine how 'well' these settings are performing. I feel comfortable (read: safe ) with these settings, so I'll keep them until the EGT.

Full throttle on my 99 with intake/exhaust I see around 42% flow through the MAF. It has gone down with the addition of the intake, used to be close to 45%. This is why intakes make the engine run lean, even though it is getting more air the engine thinks the opposite. I can't remember my settings right now, but I believe I am +35% from 5500 up and maybe +25% from 4000 to 5500. I tried to ramp it up as smooth as possible and still see good numbers on my Jumptronix A/F meter. The car will still fall off real lean right at redline, but I don't think there's anything I can really do about that. I've cranked up the % and no change. I figure I'm never running the engine at 6000rpm for any amount of time other than split second between shifts so I am not that worried.
