Post SYMS headers

I've been hearing about the borla headers and how they do nothing but make the car sound better so I was like...hmmm 400 bucks for sound..nah don't think so. I think I'm gonna go for the SYSM headers with high flow cats. Does anyone have them? To compliment them I'm getting a 2.5" exhaust.

I looked at some pics after I posted this and there was one set I saw that were turbo headers, but on the site that is selling them it says exhaust headers, not turbo headers....so now I'm like...hmmm, maybe I'll just go with borla gen 3's...

Honestly, save your money...you are not going to yeield any worthwhile hp gains from "headers"...on the EJ25's. Best bang for the buck if you want to stay NA is to get some head work done, and get yourself some proper engine management. Although more than the Borla headers, the cost will be a bit less than those Syms headers you're considering.

I'm sure that a set of equal length fully optimized headers would make more power than the Borlas do, but they do make more power than the stock manifold does. I just had a set installed last week and I can tell you that they do make a difference with the low and midrange power and the engine definately revs freer. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but I'm happy with mine. Hey ***, they're made from T-304 stainless, have a 1,000,000 mile warranty, add a few HP and sound awesome, what more could you ask for JMO
