Post ECU reseting question!

..I have had my neg batt terminal disconnected for almost 50minutes now...Is it ok if I start my car up tomorrow morning (in 8 - 9 hours)? I am new to car stuff and I am VERY novice with electrical stuff (like ecu resets...)...thanks...

That is fine, it just has to be unhooked for about 30 minutes to reset, just make sure when you start it up in the morning that you don't touch the gas!!!! let the engine warm up to normal operating speed and then turn the engine off. Once this is done your ECU is reset, start the car back up and your ready to go!! Hope this helps.

Has anyone tried to reset the ECU using a method posted before? Your supposed to connect two connectors under the steering column and follow some steps.. Just wondering if this works

I've done that, but I can't find the black connectors. I do have an automatic. Check engine light goes crazy

Maybe I'll losen my gas cap and I see if I can get the code to display... Still gotta get to the coop though.

Wish i'd seen that about a week ago... I was working under my dash and saw those green plugs.. almost hooked them up thinking i had accidentally pulled them apart but decided against it beacuse tehy looked like they'd go together really securely.. figured i'd drive a littel and if i tripped a CE light plug them in... didnt see any black plugs though.
