Post Larry's intake

Well, after much anticipation, I finally broke down and ordered the latest version of the GanzFlow(tm)intake with the Amsoil filter. I can't wait! What do I do while I am waiting?

Run around, pop you hood open, look in there, imagine nice chrome pipe there, close the hood, open drivers door, jump on your seat, imagine increased acceleration and great sound, get out, close the door, lock your car.

Repeat as necesery.

Adore my body color painted one in the meanwhile:

I went through two machine shops to get wholesale MAF adapters in 3" and both turned out cr*p for a product. I now have a third shop making them. So, as soon as the MAF adapters arrive I can ship 97-99 cold air intakes. I will need to test those and the new brackets too for proper fit.

I have plans for a MY02 intake that will eliminate the factory resonator, and another to eliminate the factory airbox as well. I need to get my hands on one first. I will be playing with PunkRS's new WRX, although he doesn't know this yet I guess I'll get around to that sooner or later...

Talking

Larry,

Thanx for the update on the Ganzflow for the '97-99 MAF-equipped boxers. I'm glad you're being persistent about cost/quality on the MAF adapters. I too am eagerly awaiting one for my MY98 OBS (I assume the intake will fit the 2.2 liter engine?)
