Question question for top mount intercooler people

hey all, i was wondering does anyone have the OEM peice (like on wrx) underneath the hood scoop to let air come in, or did you all just remove or modify that peice? if you do have the OEM one where did you get it from? thanks in advance.

I just removed the plate and seems to be doing a good job at keeping the IC nice and cool.
If your IC is not too big and that's not enough you can set up a boxy typo of thing to make sure ALL of the air from the hood scope goes to the IC, on top of that make a dices that sparys IC with water ever few seconds. that should keep it nice and COOL.

Zerosports makes a plate which you guys are talking about I gueass. It's for the hood scoop to direct the airflow right on top of the intercooler, increasing efficiency. They are roughly $220-250 I think.
We are making our own, which will also have a wider opening for our bigger intercooler setups. They are about 2 weeks out and will be priced around $120.
