Thanks again

I'm not sure how many O2 sensors my car has, I think it has 2. I want to do a high flow cat, midpipe and exhaust, and possibly headers if I can find a single exhaust ported pair. Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Just go to a muffler shop that does custom exhausts and ask them about high-flow cats. Best place to start, really.

jack up your car and see how many factory cat you have...
if you have the same setup like the RS
then you should have two cats and two o2 sensor in each cat...
you can open your hood to see if you have a o2 by the tranny..(you can see it clearly around the downpipe of your car)..again i don't know how the L is setup but there is o2 sensor where i point out on my RS.
as for your question ..yes high flow cat will work with your L, you just have to find the one that you wanna use...there is some universal hi flow cats and there is some just made for the impreza. I think there is one made for imprezas by randomtech...(its a good product that come with a price)..
hi flow cat are cat helping your exhuast flow more freely compare to the stock restrictive flow...
hope this helps
