So you purposely led someone who obviously has issues to your house. You never thought this person may come back? Really?

Hope he's on a car/truck forum like NASIOC. Someone once mentioned (if not in this thread, in a MAIC driving thread) about wanting to follow someone home, and my goodness the shame laid upon that NASIOC member (and rightfully so, even if the motivation and anger after someone almost vehicularly killed them feels justified, it just isn't).

So, hopefully he has enough people like that to shame him down.

Dear lady in the Kia,

I saw you coming while I was backing out of my driveway, hence the brakes.... No need to lay on your horn for 5 seconds .

Yours truly,
Just trying to get out of my driveway.

The "camera footage" won't get enhanced unless someone died.

Good luck with that. Unless you have an extremely lucky shot, or an over staffed forensics department at your disposal, it ain't gonna happen.

Dear dumb*** in the red Acura,

Here's how merging is supposed to work. When someone (me) starts merging from Rt. 287 onto Rt. 23 after waiting for traffic to clear for 3 freaking minutes, you're not supposed to cut over into the lane I am already halfway merged into just because you didn't get over in time for your exit. Additionally, there was no reason to honk at me as I had already swerved into the shoulder when I saw you coming at me from the corner of my eye. Learn, to, drive!

Sincerely,
Trying to get home alive

Dear big rigs who hang out in the middle lane of Rt. 287,

Get the hell out of the center lane! Why do you think all of the hills have temporary "slow truck lanes?!"

Sincerely,
What is wrong with people?

Most over the road tractor trailer drivers drive center lane because it is the most fluid lane to navigate. They obviously can't go left, and the right is a disaster in a big truck around exits and entrances.

Can't tell you how many times people will just dart over like you're not even there to swing to their exit.

That's the most common motorcycle accident; someone not paying attention making a left in front of you. As a fellow rider, I'm glad you're ok (at least ok enough to post this).

I've posted this in the MC thread several times.

A rider wearing hi-viz and a white helmet is involved in 37% fewer accidents than people who don't: yet all the noobs go out and buy flat black helmets and dark colored jackets.

Next time you see a rider in hi-viz: notice how not dead he is? I rode for 25 years without one and now feel naked without one.

Yea just like to vent about it. In few months time ill be all healed up and have big plans for my Rexy

Edit: if ya'll know the area I could have had flashing lights and the brightest of colors and it still wouldn't have prevented it. Weather was clear and sunny, noon time so no sun glare, road is very flat and straight with miles of visibility in each direction, also she didn't misjudge my speed, typically traffic travels 10-15+ over limit on strip I was going 5 under.

My bike was bright yellow, with matching yellow helmet and jacket.

I was involved in the same type of accident.
