Dear old couple from Florida,

I assume that the rules of driving haven't changed much in the last decade or so and are also similar in NJ as they are in FL. You must be extremely senile then to have merged in front of my gf while continuing to do 40 mph while she was coming down a hill at 65 mph with a tractor trailer a good distance behind her. Please remember to turn your hearing aids on next time so you can hear both her and the tractor trailer blasting their horns at you in order to force you to speed up. Luckily my gf did the smart thing and ditched into the shoulder to avoid becoming sandwiched between your car and the 18 wheeler. Try to stay off the road next time as I would not like my gf to get killed.

Thanks,
Worxman02

Dear Federal DOT,

I am forwarding this thread to you as part of my suggestion to improve road safety without installing speed cameras and hiring more police. Please institute a certification course that allows responsible drivers to become deputized and issue out tickets to the morons on the road that make it unsafe. you will receive much more revenue from this plan. If you don't approve please look at Germany for an example of how to do it right. I would not mind paying an exhorbitant fee for obtaining a drivers license if it kept the morons off the road or at least educated these morons.

Thank you,

Disgruntled responsible drivers everywere

Dear Worxman02,

You are living in a high-stress driving area. Since driving to New Jersey every month for the past two years I've almost been killed 3 times on 287. My suggestion is to leave New Jersey as soon as possible.

Love,

Concerned friend

Dear depACE ie concerned freind,

Thanks for the concern for my safety. Some of these instances occured not only in NJ but also in PA on my way to Camelback/Poconos. But I will take your advice into consideration and move out to Colorado to get some open space and real skiing. Oh and I dont easily get stressed (at least not for very long) so NJ drivers only bother me for a short time.

Love,

Appreciative freind

One more in my long list of rants: Edited for rule 17

Dear gang of posers in assorted cars,

I don't appreciate being boxed in by your crappy cars on Rt 33 in PA while driving to camelback. Thanks for coming up next to me and asking stupid questions about my car. No I dont want to race you because gas is too expensive. Im glad you in your older maxima se and your freind in his brand new sentra SE-R think your so cool. I hope your friend blows his engine when he decides to rev to a million rpm in a brand new car. I did my best to avoid having an accident with you at all costs and just glad that you finally went away so I wouldn't worry about my safety.

Get a life,

Another from RT 33 in PA,

Dear Dude with mirrored silver sunglasses with orange lenses in Hyundai Tiburon,

Yes I know that you bought the only decent car that Hyundai produces. I hope you know that your car has the WORST HP/Liter of any sort of so called sports car. Im suprised that you didn't crash when you passed me in the right hand sholder and sped off into the distance at 100+ mph. Thank you for leaving me alone with the anticipation of seeing your car turned into a twisted and battered hulk on the side of the road. No thanks to you for not fulfilling my dream.

Unsatisfied,

I need to write a book of these.

Dear Drunk or High Fat-ass in McDonalds,

No I wasn't trying to see your micro-penis. I was just trying to take a piss at 11pm before my half-hour commute home. Maybe next time you should lock the stall door instead of bitching about it and telling me, "don't look at my d*ck". Thanks for confronting me in the parking lot with your buddies in daddy's X5. Yelling at me to not look at your d*ck really makes so much sense once im in my car and trying to leave. Thanks for trying to blind me with your high beams while in traffic on a 2 lane road. I hope you learned that my car handles better than yours as I got onto the ramp to 287N at the speed limit of 45 mph and you had to slow down to prevent your fat ass from rolling over. Glad it took you so long to get up the ramp that I was able to make a double u-turn so i would end up way behind you without you ever knowing where I went. I wish I would have written down your plate if I could have seen it so I could have called the cops and had them arrest you for drunk driving and also charge you for reckless endangerment, speeding, and aggressive driving. I hope you did eventually get caught by the cops somewhere and received what you deserved.

***No street racing was involved as I stayed at the speed limit and just out handled him on an on-ramp***

Dear lady presumably asleep on 95 South,

I just wanted to thank you for giving me my "Holy crap, did that really just happen?" moment for the week yesterday. Drifting into the far-left lane without using a directional and with less than a car-length between us was expected bad driving behavior, but when you kept drifting, bounced off the guard rail, and kept going like nothing happened really surprised me and the rest of early rush hour traffic. I'm not one to criticize people's sleeping habits, but when you're falling asleep at the wheel at 1:30 in the afternoon, that might be a sign you need to change up your routine a little.

P.S. Your new Focus really didn't look to hot from the view I received while passing you as quickly as possible. Might want to get that checked out by a bodyshop...

Dear driver of the '93 Mustang

peeling out and flying through the parking lot every morning after dropping off your ugly ass girl to class, does not make you cool. all of us outside the building did enjoy when you stalled out one morning though.

Sincerly,

Dear Nissan Xterra,

In moderate traffic, if you are in the left lane, please keep up with traffic flow. Though you may not have realized that the long line of cars behind you with no traffic in front of you was a sign that you were going slower than the rest of us, the 18 wheelers and other traffic passing you in the right lane should have been. Also, please recognize this situation occurring ASAP, rather than waiting 10 miles before moving into the right lane. Those 50 cars behind you...yep, that traffic jam is all because of you. I hope you are proud.

Dear BMW owner,

I was very patient with you despite the fact that you were traveling unusually slow on 6A yesterday morning. I stayed two or three car lengths behind you, figuring that you were just innocently taking a leisurely trip down the scenic route. I thought I was being pretty polite considering I had to be at work in ten minutes. Then when we got on rt 132 I thought I would non-aggressively pass you at the light but, when the light turned green and you floored it I realized that you were just trying to piss me off the whole time.

Just because you're in a bad mood doesn't give you the right to be rude.

I was late for work. You're a *****.

Sincerely, Devon

Dear BMW 328IX driver...

I really appreciated how you showed off the AWD system in your new BMW to me this morning on RT.3 by cutting across 3 lanes of traffic TWICE to cut me off. I was extremely impressed at how you managed not to hit the jersey barriers when you started to fishtail in the fast lane going well over 80mph in the process of cutting me off. Thanks for almost killing me.

Sincerely,
The guy laughing at you in the WRX wagon

P.S.

Dear overwhelmed lady in the XL-7,
Step 1: Learn how to engage the 4WD on you vehicle
Step 2: Don't crawl along at 5-10mph on Branch Ave
Step 3: If by some chance you don't follow step 2, don't dismiss people with a wave if they honk.
Step 4: Don't spin your freaking car while trying to leave a light on level ground, and then glare at the person behind you. They didn't embarrass themselves in traffic.

CN: If you can't drive in the snow, DON'T. If you don't have a choice, move away from snowy places.

Dear Expedition driver,

Nice, you spun in the right lane on 95S, on that bridge which is about to fall any day now ( ), nothing like reversing on a highway, eh?

Dear D-bag ****fire driver,

Do you really think you can stop from 35 and 1.5 car-lengths back in the snow without hitting me? I tried giving you a hint to back off, but I'm glad we didn't have to find out whether your theory was right.

Dear Floridian Z4 driver,

Welcome to RI. I was going to ask if you needed a hand getting up that hill, but I guess you gave up and bugged out before I had the chance. Hope you got where you where going.

Yours, that d-bag in the Scooby.

Dear d-bags in the Integra and Civic

Why did you race from the ****ty-ass bridge on 95 to the s-curves? Was that really the only place you could think of?

Although props to the 'teg for having an engine that revs to ∞RPM.

Yours, I'm not going to come up with any more of these.

I am going to guess you were driving through Providence since you said s-curves. If so that is pretty typical there

Dear self-centered bitch in a white Ford Expedition at Gold's Gym in Stoughton,

I'm glad that you can invent your own parking spot right in front of the gym. You know where the medium is at the beginning of the parking row to make sure that nobody blocks access for emergency vehicles. God forbid that you have to walk 30 yards to the gym, that would be counter productive to getting into shape... wait a minute...

Dear Douche bag in the Lincoln Navigator on Main street in Sharon,

You weren't doing anything wrong, but could you like anymore insecure in your big ass SUV smoking a big ass cigar?

I just don't understand why they do it there, when only a mile or two up the road is a really long straight section (even if it is hilly)...
