dear mr midlife crisis,

i'm sorry your wife got fat after popping out your children. i'm sorry you life has not turned out as expected. i'm very sorry that you bought a harely thinking it would cheer you up. however, please do not try to commit suicide by pulling into my lane (route 128) when i am passing you. you are very lucky i was paying attention and there was an empty lane next to me. our 30 mph closing speed would not have felt very nice for you. neither would have the beating i would have administered for hitting my new car. i know motorcycles are everywhere, i'm sure i've even read the sticker on your bmw. that aside, you do not have the right to cut me off just because the car in front of you was doing 40 at the top of the onramp. take a deep breath and wait 0.5 second till the lane next to you is clear, then go around the wapce in the suv.

thanks,

the guy who wondered if bug and tar remover would also remove yuppie scum from the front bumper.

This isn't exactly a "Dear Neon Driver", but what is with it people that get into a minor fender bender...

And leave their cars sitting in the middle of the road, blocking 1 1/2 lanes of traffic on a 3 lane highway

Reason I bring this up, last night heading home from work on 84 eastbound through Danbury (right after exit 2), there was a 2 car minor fender in the middle lane, and both cars were sitting there (with drivers in cars), blocking 1.5 lanes of traffic (they did have their hazards on though, so I guess thats a plus). How hard is it to navigate a car with a dented fender and bumper to the shoulder of the road to wait for police and not block the 4 miles of stop and go traffic you created?

Dear 3 young girls in a volvo suv,
Thanks for not signaling, turning into my lane when there was no room to turn into my lane, all in an effort to catch a ramp on the left. Thanks for making me brake hard and forcing me to also take the ramp to avoid an accident. Then you wonder why I flick you off at the next light and lay on my hella supertones.

Dear douche who cut me off in an intersection...****ing yield!!! you did not have a green arrow, therefore you do not have the right of way.

I am really really getting irritated with rush hour drivers this week!

dear bmw 3 series driver,

yes, your car is more expensive than mine, but there is no need for you to have your front bumper in my back seat trying to urge me to speed up when im already doing 35 in a 25. you have no idea how bad i wanted to slow down and go 20, but luckily for you, i was late to work. i got a good laugh when you tried to pass me over a solid line IN A TURN and almost went head on with an SUV. im pretty sure you pooped your pants after that one, yet you continued to ride my ass until we hit route 7 and you sped past me giving me the one finger solute, for no reason

sincerely,
the guy who didnt overpay for my car

Dear Pickup Driver,
Please learn to navigate a rotary. Next time when you know you're about to exit the rotary, be smart enough to be in the correct lane to do so, so when I am left assuming that you are thinking those critical 2 seconds ahead, you don't end up almost driving over my hood and giving me an arrogant quizzical gesture because you can't drive.

Dear Fat Guy in a Minivan,
The sign clearly stated that there was a merge ahead, and you needed to be in the lane I was in. I was far enough ahead of you that you could've easily gotten behind me and not been the ******* you decided you deserved to be, as you floored it to pass me and the Jeep in front of me, only to run out of lane and decide that, when I didn't let you merge into my passengers door, you needed to lay on the horn despite the fact that it was your own stupidity that led you to being "stuck" behind me continuing about my way at a significant pace over the speed limit, anyway.
Thanks for the chuckle,
the one who isn't a dumbass

I agree. My only wreck on the highway (full speed 70 something) Left my car taking up the highway after pulverizing the front right part of the car into a guardrail, and bouncing back towards what should have been my life anulled...

the 93 loyale with hardly a steering as the strut tower mount and wheel were locked and bent, hood taller than I could see clearly, and running on two cylinders...(engine pinched in the bay with locked cam)I waited until the the .25 miles sideways slide came to a halt... I still managed to give the car throttle to get off the road.
Attempting this in a new sube, will leave you without a thread to post in...

there ought to be a "dear harley driver" thread the way things are going...why humor that I guess..

Dear Silver Mercedes ML 500 Driver on 95 yesterday,

I really don't see the need to tailgate me while I'm doing 85 in the left lane. Next time you do that, I will get a new car, and you will be getting a lot closer to me, as my back seat will have you in it. Then when you pass me and decide to cruise down the highway at 105 (I know because I paced you for a quick second), do us all a favor and hit that jersey barrier, but please, take the kids out of the car first. Dear fat blond in your pretty black saab,

Don't ride my ass while i'm going 10 over the limit in the left lane passing someone. dont swerve into the right lane and look at me like i have 2 heads then get back behind me and repeat the process. If you didnt cut across a few lanes to go right at a light i would have followed you and explained how poor of a driver your fat ass is.

sincerely,
maxima driver

Dear grand prix gt driver,

There was no need to do a ricer fly-by while having your pal in the passenger seat flip me off while stupidly running a red light to keep you from sitting embarassingly next to me. That was a dumb decision on you part that could have caused a serious accident. It wasn't even a race. i was late to work and just driving fast. Our cars are both grand prixs (my old car) but mine is stock, it is just the GTP with the super charger, don't risk your own, your passengers, and other drivers on the road's lives.

p.s. Don't flip me off because you decided to get the gt instead of the gtp.

sincerely,
former grand prix gtp driver

here's mine, as of last night.

Dear mid-90's Mercury Grand Marquis Driver,
You are as old as the year that your car was built.
Just because there was construction being done at 12:30am and they cut 495north down to 1 lane from 3 doesn't mean to come to a full and complete stop in the midst of the construction.
I almost killed you.
The guy behind me, he almost killed me.
Those guys with the hard hats and shovels, you know, the ones yelling and waving their arms and telling you to get moving? You should have paid attention.
But no, you decided that the right time to finally move was when I decided to go around you, and you almost killed me again.

I hope you were drunk.
I hope you were HAMMERED.
I hope you got bagged and lost your license.

Good day,
Kurt.

So he is either 1995 years old or he was 13?!?!

Either way, seeing a corpse drive or a kid driving who probably couldn't even see over the wheel must of been a site.

Dear Mr Honda accord driver, suzuki GSXR driver, and soccer mom, in a Nissan Quest,

Just because im puttin' along in 3rd gear around 40mph at 3k doesnt mean im racing, and i loved the motor knock/tick your ***** had when yu proceeded to drop yur rice bomb into 2nd at 40 to accelerate passed me while doing 25 over the limit to just slam on your breaks and tear up your "lowered" car going through a rough pavement area and then come to a hault at a stop light.

mr suzuki, just because you're a baller wearing a jersey and have a bike , doesnt mean you can cut between 4 stopped cars at a red light and then proceed to take off down the road. it got you no where , and you almost killed yourself. not to mention you stared at me like a punk while you're cutting between us.

Miss soccer mom is quest. Yield signs mean yield, not blast through it , SLAM on your brakes, let one car go by and then piddle on the peddle and cut my ass off. I should have followed you in the Shell station and told the mass state trooper of your previous lil escapade.

sincerely,

mr sedona red WRX

Dear Scion TC who cut me off repeatedly, swerving around traffic, seemingly trying to race me down the big hill by the christmas tree shops in Manchester, CT,

There is a huge T shaped intersection at the bottom of that hill with a parking lot and restaurants and ****. The road ends there. I'm from michigan and I knew that. The look on your face when you saw the red light and the end of the street was priceless. I did not want to race you, nor will I want to [God forbid there be a] next time. 3500 rpm at 35 mph does not mean I'm downshifting to launch, it means I'm engine braking down the hill. Go find a neon or something to pick on.

sincerely,
the guy in the silver wrx wagon with a michigan plate

Dear WACPE in the "pimped" civic,

your '98 civic hatch with 6+ different colored panels and lowered suspension is no match for any WRX. it was almost no match for that uneven patch of pavement and uneven expansion joint of 95 north also. just because you have lowered your car within 2 inches of the ground does not mean it will perform like an F1 car. i did enjoy the array of sparks put off by your poor car as you proceeded to launch off said expansion joint try'n to show me your m4d tyte f4st3r civic. ( which was stock except for cosmetics and suspension )

i have to give you props for your save though. when i saw you get air and the back end of that car bounce left and right. i really thought i was about to witness (and almost become part of ) a huge accident. you getting almost perpendicular to the guard rail as you bounced around and then some how saving that whole mess without hitting traffic next to you or going off the road, that was impressive . although as i passed you, because you figured out your an idiot and slowed down, the look on the faces in that car were priceless . i could imagine the smell of s*** in that car as i'm sure you all needed new shorts.

love,
the guy laughing at you
