Dear Middle-aged Bald Guy,
I'm pretty sure when you bought that Audi TT they didn't hand you a deed to "the road," you don't own it, so don't drive like you do. There is no need to straddle the middle and left lanes trying to squeeze by because everyone is not doing 90+ like you. I don't understand why you must risk life and limb and then slow down to 40 mph when route 84 turns to grooved pavement and resume weaving at 90 when it smoothes out. You sir, are an a**hat.
Sincerely, Mike

PS - If the Audi didn't do the trick, try some Rogaine and Viagra you overcompensating flaccid man...

dear whomever you are in your red generic 1980's wagon,

This is the Merrit you drive in the right pass in the left. It is great if you want to be in the left lane but when you are matching the person to your immediate right going 60 mph in a 55 please either speed up and pass them or drop back and move to the right. Don't continue for 3 miles in front of me and ocassionally speed up to 65. Thank you.

The person behind you in North Haven/Wallingford,
Alana

Dear Lexus SUV Driver,

Just beacause you drive a car bigger than my apartment doesn't mean you should feel free to drift into my lane, and expect me to get out of the way. Try using a turn signal if you'd like to change lanes. Don't act shocked that I beeped at you for almost running me off the road. Yes, my car is 1/3 the size of your SUV, but that doesn't give you the right to drive over me.

Next time, try looking before you change lanes. Maybe try a turn signal too. Oh wait....you were too busy giving me the finger to use that hand to turn on your turn signal.

That felt good....

Dear Mustang Convertible full of 19-year-old wanna-be's:
Thank you. I appreciated it when you pulled up in the right turn lane and looked my direction and challenged me. I'm sorry that you were able stay within sight of me for so long -- it must have been torture staring at my rear-end and noticing the stock appearance of the car. It must have sucked when you had to merge behind me when your lane ended. I would have finished you off more quickly, but I actually have a broken collarbone, so I was driving and shifting one-handed, which slowed me down. But since I hadn't driven in 3 weeks, it was a great reminder of why I love my car.

Dear 3-series and RSX drivers:
Remember last year during that wild snowstorm when you followed me into that unplowed parking lot by the train station? Well, I'm sorry you both got stuck. But you really should have realized that I'm driving a Subaru. I really didn't mind digging you both out... twice... In fact, it made me smile big because it reminded me of how much I love my car. (And it ate up so much time I just skipped the train to work and went home.) Oh, and Mr. BMW driver, I can assure you that your car does NOT have all-wheel drive, despite your claims. First of all, they didn't make all-wheel drive 3 series the year your car was built. Second, notice how your rear wheels are spinning uselessly and your fronts aren't moving? That should be a tip. Next time do some research before dropping $35K. BTW, can you see out the moon roof with a foot of snow on top?

Default Dear Asswipe on the Motorcycle

Dear Asswipe on the Motorcycle,

Did you really have to fly up behind me and sit two inches off my rear right fender on a two lane highway? Aside from making me extremely nervous, don't you realize that you would have nowhere to go if there was an emergency since I was passing a car on the right? Oh I know how manueverable your motorcycle is and you were probably sure that in the event of an emergency, you could have avoided all of us as your bike went off the road and into the grass or, preferably, a bridge abutement.

I thought it was especially delighftul that when you finally did get by me, you gave me the finger because I didn't get out of your way fast enough. I am quite suire that you have a bumper sticker on your car saying, "Motorcycles are everywhere" because the rest of us should have to watch out for you involved in your typically reckless buillisht as you navigate the highways of our fair commonwealth.

Best regards,

Jeff

I have had a similar situation where I guy on a motorcycle was behind me at a traffic light in a right turn only lane. He creeped up to the right side of my bumper as if though he was gonna drive up the shoulder, drive around me and take the right on red, even though there was just one car in front of me. I was afraid to make the turn once the light turned green because I couldn't see him and was afraid he was right next to my car (I thought I might swipe him as I made the turn).

On another note, whats the deal with motorcycles driving down the left shoulder when your stuck in traffic. I realize its nice to drive a small enough vehicle where you can "cut through", but when I am sitting in traffic I am not normally looking at my side view mirror. When all of a sudden a bike pulls by on the left shoulder and I have to pull my arm back in through the window for the fear the guy is gonna clip me, doesn't make me too happy.

Dear croch-rocket,
I have owned several street bikes and I know they are all fast. I know you can beat my car in a race. So when I drive by you at 45mph going the opposite way, don't bounce your engine of the rev limiter every 5ft to let me know you're faster. There is no way to magically turn my car instantly around and match your speed. And even if there was, and you did this to me, I would be inclined to drive into you.

Dear half of Massachusetts,

When entering a highway, please accelerate while driving down the on-ramp as to not enter the highway at 35 mph. If you could do that so I wouldn't get reamed almost every morning on I-95 that would be great, mmmkay?

Dear hick in the rusty red F-150,

As I courtesy I accelerate on the on ramp. Don't go a slow 40 mph and get me pinned between your busted up truck and a guard rail. Even though you have the right of way most people aren't slow driving ******** and change lanes when the on ramp comes up to the highway so other people can merge on. You might also want to check your rearview mirror next time someone lays onto the horn. You'll really cause an accident when you drive slow and have the "I have the right of way" mentallity. It only works when you go atleast the speed limit.

Dear douchebag in the Pontiac,

Just because you didn't feel like waiting in line like the rest of us does not mean that you get to cut over right in front of me. And just because you wave at me after the fact doesn't make me not want to slam your head in a car door over and over again. Please be more courteous in the future.

Dear 17 Year Old Wannabe Ricer and Friend in the late 80's rusted out Pontiac Parrisienne,

I'm sorry, I will not "light 'em up" for you. My car doesn't do that very well on dry pavement. Even though the big wing and 300HP make it fast4r, it has too many drive wheels.

Dear Green Neon Driver:

Just because you have the license plate "SPEEDRCR" doesn't mean you can weave through traffic on your way home to Rhode Island on 495S everyday. Some people would like to get home alive.

Dear Mr. Motorcycle Rider on NB Fairfax County Pkwy,

Please accept my apologies for passing you on the right when you took your hands off your grips for the 3rd time to wipe them on your pants. I got tired of having to hit my brakes as your engine compression caused you to slow quickly without brake lights.

I obviously offended you as you had to barrel up on my a$$ at 95+mph when I was simply going around you and the line of cars 500' ahead of you. Even though I was doing 75 in the right lane, I was not interested in racing--just wanted to get home from work sometime that day.

Next time, however, you should keep an eye on the cars you pass. That was an unmarked Crown Vic at the head of the line on the left. I don't think you noticed him. I wasn't being an a$$hole when I slammed on my brakes and made you soil yourself as you nearly ate my wing but I will not get charged with reckless driving to prevent you from killing yourself.

Thank you.

And on a side note, this does not mean accelerate and then come to a complete stop blocking the breakdown lane traffic. Especially when said subaru minding his own business was travelling in said lane and had to slam on his brakes and almost get reamed from the backside. I slowed down and gave you plenty of room to merge f@ggot. I would have let it go had you not then flipped me off and started ranting. Next time I will get out of my car.

EDIT: I love brembo.

dear assbag in the hummer h2,

when driving down a road barely wide enough for two cars (your vehicle being the width of perhaps one and a half), please be so kind as to not straddle the yellow line, forcing me into bushes on the side of the road so as not to become your new hood ornament. it would be nice for you to turn your high-beams off when confronted with oncoming traffic, as well. i ask you these things on your own behalf, so i am not forced to hunt you down and murder your entire family. at least their eviscerated bodies can rot in style in your fifty-thousand dollar p***s enhancement.

cheers,
dan

ps: i'll let you watch with your one good eye, after i've burned the other one out with a soldering iron.
