Angry Wrx Keyed In Daytona!!

Well my car was keyed all down the passanger side last night in the parking lot behind molly browns in Daytona last night. All the way from front to back!!! People can be real idiots! They see a nice car and are jelous, so they have to mess it up because they cant have it themselves. It is a messed up world!! My insurance estimates 1100 bucks in dammage!

The messed up thing about it all is that I work at Razzles night club across the street. I ALWAYS park behind the club which is out of the way, so I don't get any door dings etc. The owners of the club just put a new rule into effect last night that no employees are allowd to park behind the club, because those spots are for customers. I offered to pay for the spot, and they still would not let me park there. So I was pretty pissed anyway over the whole situation. So I walk out to my car last night and jokinglt say to my friend "well lets see what is smashed up on our cars tonight" and I walk over to my car and sure enough!!! Nice long and deep key mark down the whole side!!! The first night I dont park in my usual spot it gets messed up!!! That is some serious BS!!! I went over to the owners of the club and showed them and they told me "sorry man, that sucks, but you still have to park over in that other parking lot" I about flew off the handle at this point!!!! I dont know what I should do for the future. Just look for new dammage every night? It is total BS! They wouldn't even give me a reason why I can't park in the lot behind the club. But i know one thing...If I ever catch the person who did it...They will know what pavement and blood taste like!!!

Damn man that sux. My parents have a condo down there in daytona and I've been to razzles and molly browns, yes parking in that area is a b@#$h at night. Oh and the molly browns upstairs has to be the most awesome strip club i've ever been to. The ladies there are um well extremely agressive for tips and lap dances

as one of the elder gents on this board, when I read the name Razzles' night club in Daytona, I about crapped a brick! That place was there even when I was an undergrad (circa 1990)! Can't believe that place is still in business, does it still have the sunken dance floor and all the neon?

lol...yes it still has the sunken dance floor (wood) but the have remodeled the rest of the club. No more neon. (Thank god!) But there are plenty of black lights (if you like the 80s theme) God I hate the black lights! Believe it or not it is one of the oldest clubs in the USA! Same name and ownership for all these years! I believe it is either the oldest or the 2nd oldest.

This sucks HUGE and is one of the reasons I plan to keep my car mild on the exterior side of things. Just too many farging haters out there. I don't know what it is in people that makes them do such things...it's scary for people who care about there cars, because with 10 seconds and a car key, some arsehole can f-up your whole ride. Hope they do a good job fixing it for you!

Can you say "premise liability" - you should file a claim with the nightclub's insurance carrier.

I would but because of the politics at the club...I would more than likely loose my job indirectly. They would find a reason to fire me. And provide some sort of evidence that I was not doing my job. Plus one of the owners is a former state attourney. So because of the politics I have to keep my mouth shut. But I have a new parking spot now that should be safer.
