IC for RS

anyone know where I can get an used Intercooler for RS? i have minnam stage 1
turbo kit, and can't affort to buy
the brand new IC so, anyone have
any idea if there is any other brand or used
IC available?
and about how much the used IC with piping
gonna cost me.

There was a company in SoCal selling used 2.0 Legacy Air-Water ICs for $100 earlier this month in the classifieds. You may want to do a search there. I have no experience with the company though.

If you are looking for a WRX IC you need a pre-97 IC as the newer ones don't fit do to the RS throttle body being to close to the firewall. So I have heard.

I was searching for an IC for a while, and ended up ordering the Rallispec Spearco IC. I gave up on my used IC hunt and went with one I knew would fit right, flow well, and be top notch craftmanship. My credit card hates me for it though

Well, I went the cheapo route and ordered a used early WRX intercooler. I'm not even sure I'm going to need an intercooler at the low boost levels I'll be running, but if the car starts pinging in June, it'll be good to have that option.

Expect to pay GBP 100-150 plus shipping from any U.K. Subaru shop.

I purchased mine from Andrew Lord at www.subaru-spares.co.uk . However, all of the local Utah guys have hit him up for IC's already and he has nothing more to give. Heck, I got the only 1 he had in stock. www.subaruspares.com is a totally different company.

You can also try www.partsplus.com.au or www.adelaidejap.com.au .

Here's a question: I assumed the early WRX intercooler could move enough air for 240HP without too much restriction. Has anyone actually documented CFM vs. pressure loss for these intercoolers?

I'll 2nd that except for the credit card part. Good ole fashioned HARD earned money will do it for me. My pockets will be sore come this Friday.

BTW: I didn't know RalliSpec took credit cards.

I ordered my MY95 IC from a person in the UK. The cost was £45.00 (IC) + £57.00 (SHIPPING) for a total of $147 USD. It is being shipped here as we speak.
