Cool

i am thinking about headers i just dont have any research into any yet. does your 99 have a maf? if you do a S-AFC will get you some noticable gains. did me good and i am also getting a pillar mount air fuel meter from jcsports put in next week sometime to tune the S-AFC more accuratly with. my RS can kill a 2k buttvein GT v6, and i gave him a rolling start

Lightbulb

uhh a maf is on the 98 i have. i beleive you have a map. one is a mass air flow and one is mass air pressure, i beleive.. S-AFC (super air fuel computer) Apexi( makes it. tells the car what to think and adjusts it. with a intake i had a bog when i got on the throttle and now i have great pull. oh and you dont need a MAF you have your map although Imprezars.com has a turbo RS 2000 and i am glad i have a maf. for tuning reasons. and autos i heard, turbo well

All '99 cars have MAFs, as do the '98s, but the MY99 is the only MY that absolutely requires an AFC if it has an intake because of the MAF getting confused by the additional flow.
