Just tried the K&N 1004 on my Integra and will shortly try one on my GT. It would do a lot to convince the skeptics out there if someone were to cut one apart after use and determine for everyone the quality (or lack)of the componentry. Must admit to a moment of weakness springing $20 for a pair of Oil Filters!
My Acura seems happy with her first dose of Mobil1 5W30 and the K&N. Probably about 5 months til I pull the filter, so if I don't see it before that I'll be sure to post the dismemberment complete with pics. Anyone with a heavy commute think they could do it sooner?

I cut open the OEM filter that came on my car and I am going to do the Bosche filter when I get a chance. I took quite a few pics of the oem/puralator. I plan to bring them public with I get them both done.
