Post Anyone have every N/A Cobb Tuning product???

I wanna know if anyone has everything you could possibly do to your car for N/A from Cobb Tuning? And if so what kinda HP and Torque numbers does the Cobb Tuning N/A Ultimate setup run? Cobb should have a package to do EVERYTHING hehe. I want a price for it. I wouldnt mind N/A'ing every bit of power I can out of my RS and then going turbo afterwards. Just curious...

If you end up running high comp pistions, and hten you end up turboing your ride you will have to fetch some low comp pistions so that you dont detonate your engine. Thats alot of money to N/A your car and then turbo it...its cheaper to make up your mind and then do it...

Hehe. I will probably just get headers and cams and then call it good. But was curious as to what he yields would be from the ultimate N/A setup.

It should be in this forum if you want to search, but the only car I've been aware of having "everything" Cobb Tuning produced was Trey's own R&D car. (a MY99 2.5RS)

If you're going to eventually go turbo, and plan on keeping it a mild turbo (between 5-7 PSI), go with their mild/street stuff. Trey says they're all good on N/A, and on turbo with those mild turbos. I plan on going turbo eventually Though I'm thinking first cams and heads, then maybe headers once Borla figures out what the heck is going on with their supposed crappy HP/Torque gain and CE light...Then turbo, or preferably a S/C...::rambles on:: Trey's stuff is top notch from what I hear, though

Ya, I am defintely going for the cams if I can get someone in my area to help me install them. Then midpipe and headers if Borla pulls it together hehe. Then a mild 5 to 7 PSI turbo setup. Should make me very happy.

Plus Trey's own car Coil overs tomorrow.
And...just got a set of Kosei F-1 15" wheels kind of light.

Strap 1: Stock tranny/stock clutch, new flywheel today

dcoty: I had the same ideas, so while I get the money I'm waiting on some special "Top Secret" device that is going to give 7200 red line and more torque...cheaper than Tech II, or Haltech.(if they can make it)

Andres,
I've got two guesses. JC torque chip or better Trey's custom ECU Andres, you live in TX why don't you have Trey program that puppy for you? I'd love to have an ECU custom programmed for my car You're lucky you live near one of the best if not the best Subaru tuners in the country. It sucks up here in the NE, there's nothing up here.

Andres, I hope you get this soon! It sounds pretty nice, and it will meet my needs perfectly. When you get it, put up a new topic and spread the wealth!

And we get stuff faster from Cobb Tuning down here in TX. I had a swaybar and mounts ordered into the Austin Subaru dealership a while back. It was shipped out UPS groun on Tuesday and it was in Austin Wednesday morning. Now that's service!

Andres car is sweeeeet BTW.

I'm ordering the Stage2 package in two weeks. Let ya know how it goes. BONUS CHECKS RULE...

Now, I just gotta figure how to get a couple more for the heads & cam. I can make TX in 5-6 hrs and plan on just having Trey's shop do the install. That engine management system sounds like another item on the wishlist.
