Post mod to Ganz Intake

I received my Ganzflow intake last week, and installed it last weekend. Very impressed, however it required a coulpe of modifications.
1. Tube is about 1.5-2" too long, actually cutting off some airflow from the inner fender. Fixed that no problem.
2. Method of using silicon tubing to fix end in fender hole doesn't work very well (for me). Got home last night and popped the hood to check it and the tubing was falling off and the intake tube was bouncing around in the fender hole. I suggest taking the stock plate that was there and cutting a 2.5" diameter hole through it to accomodate the intake tube. Then just snap it back in and it is a VERY nice fit. No rattles, no bouncing.

Otherwise, I am VERY impressed with the intake. Stromung SS single tip and midpipe go in this weekend. Next weekend I will explore the possibility of constructing a JEg's high flow cat pipe.

Thanks Larry!!

I had a terrible time putting the tubing on. And also a pain in my ass to get the thing to be secure in the hole. So I got smart. I heated up the tubing for 10 or 15 seconds in the microwave. It was a ease to put on then. So I got to thinking...why not heat up the peice that goes between the turbing and the piping? So I drove around for a while playing with my new intake. After my engine got pretty good and warm the rubber peice was easy to slide into place. Its been in place ever since.
