Default What car would you want as a project car?

I don't know about you guys, but I have always wanted to buy some Subaru Outback 2000-2002, and work on it when I have time.

What car would you want? Would it be a Subaru?
If you have a project car, what is it?

Thanks!

Superperformance Cobra replica. Not much of a project because it comes already built, but there's always tweaking to do. I'd use it as a semi-daily driver and track car.

If I had the extra garage space I suppose a pre '74 Porsche 911 would be fun. I wouldn't want to have to rely on it so it'd strictly be a track car. I just love the way they drive.

When i get my WRX, i am going to try to turn my SC400 into a project car, assuming it lasts that long. If i can get a good twin turbo kit, my car will be evil. Of course i'd probably end up killing myself with it, but hey, its all in the name of good fun.

that would have been sweet. I thinking about getting a 81 toyota starlet to turn into a rally beater. Might be cool, rwd, very light. Plus I can get the car for $400 at most.

Anyone with starlet experience?
